Dublin 1989:039 15-23 Merchant's Quay, Wood Quay Ward Boreholes O105342 The developer paid for archaeological supervision of 5 trial borings at this site. The top 3-4m comprises modern building rubble. The underlying 0.8m-2m was a medieval dump layer which contained animal bone, shells, scraps of leather and wood chips. One sherd of local medieval pottery was found. Rosanne Meenan, Roestown, Drumree, Co. Meath.
