Dublin 2000:0247 BRIDGEFOOT STREET, DUBLIN Medieval 314500 233990 98E0358 ext. Three trenches were mechanically excavated on this small site on the west side of Bridgefoot Street in May 2000. A similar profile was recorded in each trench. Subsoil was reached at 2.5m below modern ground level. Medieval cultivated soils that varied from 1m to 1.3m in thickness overlay subsoil and were in turn overlain by modern deposits. There were no post-medieval deposits in any of the excavated trenches.
